At Caporella Aquatic and Fitness Center, we offer swim lessons for all ages and skill levels. Swim Lessons are available for all ages and abilities. We are an American Red Cross Authorized Provider. Our certified swim instructors work with each individual to help them build their confidence and skills in the water. Our lessons are designed to be fun and engaging, ensuring that all learners have an enjoyable experience while gaining new abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your technique, our swim lessons are a great way to get active and stay safe in the water.
Parent & ME
Ages: 6 months – 3 years
Class Length: 30 minutes
Parent accompanies child in water with emphasis placed on teaching both child and parent basic aquatic and safety skills.
Monday Wednesday and Friday
Level 1
Ages: 4-12 years
Class Length: 30 minutes
Swim test required for registration. Basic skills include breath control, kicking, floating, and simple stroke techniques.
Monday Wednesday and Friday
Level 2
Ages: 4-12 years
Class Length: 30 minutes
Swim test required for registration. Skills include orientation to deep water, arm strokes with kicking on front and back, turning over, and basic safety skills.

Level 3
Ages: 4-12 years
Class Length: 30 minutes
Swim test required for registration. Skills include diving, dolphin kick, reversing direction, and safety skills. Continues skill development of freestyle and backstroke.

Basic swimming skills for adults learning to swim including breath control, floating, and basic stroke techniques.

Program Details:
The Children’s Services of Broward county has partnered with Broward County’s Swim Central program to provide a coupon to help off-set the cost of swimming instructions for children and their families.

TS Aquatics offers a competitive swim team program and recreational summer team (Tiger Sharks) for children ages 5-18 at the Caporella Aquatic Complex. Free tryouts are held Monday-Thursday, between 5-7 p.m. For additional information, please email [email protected]

Find comfort in the soothing waters of the Caporella Aquatic Center! Work on balance and coordination while increasing range of motion, joint flexibility, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness without causing strain. No swimming experience is necessary. Classes are free for senior program members and $5 for non-program members
